If you have hunger pains or nausea here are a few helpful tips:
Get on your knees and put your head on the floor making yourself as small as possible (hold onto feet if needed) this helps a lot with hunger pangs. It should look like picture above but if you put your arms back and grab feet you can pull yourself in tighter.
Take a hot shower or bath, this calms the muscles and it relieves pain and stress. This is also a very effective method.
Another method to cure coldness and nausea/hunger pain:
Hot water and honey, or just hot chamomile tea, if you do not want the calories of honey.

ReplyDeleteHmm well if you think it will work, you can do what I do, I associate hunger pain with getting thin (i.e. pain equals fat leaving the body). If that does not work than maybe keep a few jolly ranchers/gum/crackers on hand this should help as well, and you can always pack a few veggies for lunch to help tide you over until you get home and can drink something warm.

ReplyDeleteMe personally or in general? I am hoping the latter. If you have it, you just know, you don't need some licensed human being who has never dealt with Ana to tell you if you have it or not based on insecurities and your BMI. If you struggle with eating, are starving yourself or restricting, if you hate yourself with every fiber of your being unless you are hungry and working out and losing weight, always feeling like it... like you are not enough, then it is pretty likely you have it.
DeleteIn the mourning my stomac hurts so I drink two pints of water and I spoon of sugar ( stops me eating later on) but then I feel really sick :(

ReplyDeleteDrink ice tea. It has a flavor so it satisfies the craving for taste, has caffeine so you'll get an energy boost and will fill you up as well as take away the hunger pains. It also helps me from getting dizzy.
