Fasting? Fasting.

So I am fasting for a total of 3 days and I should probably give you a tip if you are wanting to fast and haven't ever before: 
Just because you are fasting does not mean you can stop working out!

It is only the first day so I forgave myself for not working out as I am hungry and tired and have not entered starvation mode yet, once I do I will workout twice as hard, regular routine starts tomorrow!


Alright so here is the deal for fasting, you cannot just cut yourself off. You NEED water and so technically this is a water-fast. You cannot fast for longer then 3 days if you have A) never fasted before or B) have not fasted in a while (week or longer). Why? Because it is really difficult, you are basically setting yourself up for failure, you need to ease into it ESPECIALLY if you just recently started cutting your calorie intake. 

So here are the major tips:

  • Water, Water, Water
  • If you aren't sleeping, workout, too tired to workout? Sleep. 

  • Stay busy! Do not just watch TV, get on the computer and actually do stuff, clean, go outside, anything but do not just sit there and do nothing as you will easily become bored and start talking yourself into eating.
  • Hungry? It is Ana eating away at the fat! Burn calories burn!

  • Are you really considering giving up? Write in your journal, text a ProAna buddy, get on ProAna site/blog. This will put you in your place!
  • Get up, yes right now! Stand up. Turn on some music and dance, look like a fool, feel like an idiot it doesn't matter! This is a relaxer and will release all the tension you have from fasting. 
  • If you really, absolutely must, then eat but when I say this I mean like 1 or 2 grapes and that is it, no more. This is only to satisfy the unbearable pain/food in general cravings long enough to get you through the day.
Don't think of this as a fast but rather you are cutting your calorie intake! Hey want me to dare you? We can make it a game if you want! I challenge you to fast 3 days without ANY food only water! I bet you cannot do it... Prove me and the world wrong!


After looking up a bunch of thinspo pics. for this blog I feel so-so self conscious, and all the pics I accidentally came across of skinny girls and their boyfriends while on "thinspiration scene" Blah...Now I really don't want to cheat! Off to bed now! Good night my loves, stay strong!
