Hiding from everyone: Tips.


Most of these you already know, most are common sense, some are absurd but oh well I am putting them all here! 

  • Leave evidence behind, when no one is around of course, do it when everyone is asleep or before anyone wakes up in the morning.
  • When you do eat make sure someone is always around (or majority of time) this way they cannot say you don't eat.
  • Do not bring up dieting, or weight no matter who it is about, no matter who your talking to (unless it is Ana buddy)
  • Do not workout obviously, work out when alone/ when everyone is asleep etc.
  • Do not weigh yourself so obviously, if you lose weight keep it to yourself and try not to show that your extra happy as someone is bound to ask why
  • Avoid using excuses like "I am sick" too much, if someone says eat breakfast before you leave say you will pick something up or eat when you get there or if eating a meal they say you need to eat more just say you had a big snack/lunch before dinner. 
  • delete all history and browsing after on the computer, if they find out you are looking at models everyday and dropping weight concern will arise
  • use smaller plates and get half a serving of several healthy things, this will create the illusion that you are eating a lot 
  • have set times you eat, this way you can just say you already ate, or will eat in an hour or so (whenever food is scheduled) or say you can't eat before bed! Let your parents see your schedule so they can watch you during these times to see if you are really eating, when suspicion is gone you can go back to whatever eating habits you had before. 

If people are already suspicious, you need to refrain from weighing yourself, also only eat when someone is around to see! That is very important!! Try to workout only an hour a day when no one is around, this way you will not be losing so fast. Anything to get them to bug off right?

  1. How do I hide my food from parents? I dont eat breakfast and lunch because I am always alone. But dinner is around the table with family, and If I just didn't eat it would go noticed.

    1. Maybe start a habit of "eating" in your room? My family used to be like that until I got older and they'd let me, now my family NEVER eats together we just eat whenever we want. There is not much you can do if you are forced to eat with them, just try telling them they gave you too much and you are not hungry enough to eat it all, or half way through simply say you can't eat another bite or you think your stomach will bust. This way you will at least be eating way less at dinnr (which will not hurt weight loss)

  2. i have the same problem! If i dont eat they pick up on it and it all gets awkward!

    1. If you're near 18, fake recovery because once you're 18 they can't make you do anything! And they cant hospitalize you for starving yourself if they think you're too thin!
