Fasting: The problems with it

So really I only recommend fasting for those who are actually Ana, or for those of you who have been doing this for longer then just a measly week or two. 

The reason why I don't recommend fasting to everyone (especially weak-willed people) is because even if you *do* make it the whole day, when you go to eat the next day you might eat too much, or worse make a bad decision and eat a whole bunch of fatty foods! If you don't make it through the day, I think you are worse off as you are starving right then and want food now. You. Will. Binge. Don't tell yourself you won't because you will. So don't fast if you haven't done it before or if you aren't 100% certain you can make it.

If you want to fast then try just lowering your calorie intake even more for the next few days and start drinking more water to fill the gap. This way you will enter starvation mode, lose weight *FAST* and then slowly, very, very slowly raise your calorie intake so you don't gain a whole bunch of weight back (you will also need to make sure you are working off every calorie you take in just in case your body does decide it wants to store the food you eat as fat (energy))
