- Eat on small dark plates, small to control portion and to create the illusion that you are eating a lot, dark because it is said that darker coloured plates (dark blue specifically) make you feel fuller faster. Anything to help right?
- Buy baby spoons and forks to eat with, these control portion, and how fast you eat, they help you with taking small bites.
- when you want to cheat, list 20 reasons you shouldn't
- find exercises for each part of the body
- pick one food cut it into 4 quarters, Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack!
- Take picture with nothing on, look at it when wanting to binge/cheat
- eat with opposite hand you normally do (right-handed eat with left, left-handed eat with right)
- frequent pro-ana sites and blogs
- hang out with skinny people
- eat in front of mirror to control intake
- put too much salt on food so you cannot eat it
EATING OUT? NO PROBLEM:
- Ask waiter to put half your meal in doggy bag before they bring you your food, eat only half of what is on your plate and "forget" your doggy bag.
- "Accidentally" put too much salt/hot sauce/spice on your food so you can't eat it.
- "Accidentally" spill your drink on your food
- chew sugar-free gum, be careful each stick is 5 calories, brushing teeth for two minutes burns 5.7 calories, try balancing on one foot for one minute and the other for the next minute this will burn another two or three calories especially if you use good posture!
- if you go to bed early, then don't eat dinner after 6 pm
- Keep moving, every calorie counts even if it is only 1 cal/minute it will add up to a pound eventually!
- Stay away from the kitchen!!
- eat 1000 calories or less a week, you will lose lots of weight doing nothing but this, if you workout on top of this you can be shedding the weight off you like clothes!
- make a meal plan with calories counted all ready, this helps loads
- do 20 pushups, jumping jacks, and sit ups when hungry, working out and getting the heart rate up helps lower appetite for a while
- Drink lots of green tea, it cleans you out, burns calories, and is healthy because it is herbal!
- 2 tbsp. vinegar before every meal sucks the fat out
- lollipops/peppermints curb appetite
- Don't swallow! Chew & Spit!
- Sitting up straight burns more calories than slouching
- standing burns more calories than sitting
- dress down when awake, more calories burned when cold, dress up when you sleep to lose water weight while sleeping
- lack of sleep burns calories but stimulates hunger!
- getting 8 hours of sleep burns up to 500 calories for people 157 and under (more if you are heavier) pretty good for doing nothing!
- spicy foods boost metabolism
- Eat negative calorie foods when you want to snack
- drink water before every single meal
- chewing ice helps fill you up and gives you the same satisfaction as eating
- eat slow it takes 20 minutes for stomach to realize it is full
- Fiber and protein!!!
- concentrate on food while eating, keeps you from over eating and helps you feel more satisfied after
- drink a small glass of water every hour

I was literally a whale before i started on this path. to date i've lost a little over 92lbs in 6 months. i have about 35lbs to go and your site is really motivating. i'm restricting like crazy with the occasional fasts and its melting off

DeleteHey I'm Dawn 137 pounds and I have been drinking less water but I used to be 132 pounds....so far my diet of eating high fiber cereal from Trader Joe's has been nice. It's cool getting advice from your website Jezzy, keep it up <3
