Day 1: Water Fasting

I decided to make the first 3 days a warm up, I did eat today (2AM-5AM) and am still counting today as day 1 as I did not go to sleep until 8AM (3 hours after finishing binge) and slept until 3PM (7 hours of sleep) and I'll be up all night again so my metabolism will be going longer. 

So yeah, my point is, I am thinking of this as my official 21-day fast and the 3 days as a warm up. Pathetic but whatever gets me through this without binging again, right? I deleted the posts from the first 4 days as they discouraged me. 


TIP FOR WEAK MOMENTS DURING A FAST:

This is just what I do but still, if it will help even one person I'll be happy:
  • Take a shower (I know I say this a lot, but it does help!)
  • watch a crap load of upbeat thinspo

  • I do NOT recommend keeping a fasting journal, but I do recommend keeping a journal. Try to avoid writing about your hunger/cravings/temptations as that will only motivate you to give up. INSTEAD write useful tips and mindsets that you learn within yourself along the way. After fasting 2 times once for 4 and 1/2 days the second time for 3 and 1/4 days you learn a few things, learning if a fasting journal actually helps or makes it harder, is one of them. *This is not to say you cannot keep one, but from my experience it makes it harder*
  • Drink your water from where ever you want. Do not feel it needs to be in some special glass, drink it in whatever makes you comfortable, I forced myself to drink it from a goblet and it made it taste and smell funny (to me at least) I prefer to just drink it straight from the bottle.
  • Do not weigh yourself every time you pee or workout, your weight fluctuates between days 1-5 (or 6 for most) by 0.7-1.0 pound. That is not a lot at all, you will not see progress and will thus start thinking "oh this is not worth it, so much pain and misery, I'll just give up." NO! I failed (not gave up) and felt OK for the whole binge, even a few hours after but then come time to sleep I cried for an hour over it, you will regret it do not kid yourself. 
  • Stay LAZY, if you can, seriously stay in bed all day long, read, write, get on a lap top/phone anything just stay in your room, away from the kitchen (triggers hunger/the need to eat) and stay away from any spot that you normally eat (example: if you always eat at the dinner table, avoid it at all costs)

  2. i gonno fast from tomorrow for 3 days and only get 100-200 cals the next 4 days so im prepared for a longer one
