Both are the same thing just a bit different with a different list of exercises, both necessary if you binged/cheated and need to know exactly how much you are actually burning off.
WORKOUT TIPS:
So you want to lose weight fast?
Do you want your workout sessions to actually be effective?
Here are some easy things to remember:
- Do the exercises that hurt the most (planking for a full minute, wall sit for a full minute; etc.) Make sure if you are working on your legs/abs/butt/arms that your muscles are burning (not straining). If you are comfortable, chances are you are not using a lot of energy and therefore are not burning calories, and thus not losing. If you are just reusing muscles and not even making them STRONGER then you are not doing anything but wasting your breath and time.
- Hold the exercise for as long as possible, do not stop just because it hurts or burns, that is when you are really burning calories!
- Do core and Cardio exercises (Literally just jump around your room if you want! Jumping jacks, dancing, running in place, jumping rope, jumping) Core- Crunches, sit ups, planking, ab twists.
GO LONGER GO HARDER!
- Turn the music really loud, and keep yourself distracted, if you can hear your breathing and or are focused completely on the burning sensation you will tire out faster.
- Make sure it is fast music, keep it upbeat and fun! Something you would dance to! This is a great subconscious motivator and is proven that you will push harder and go longer if you listen to faster upbeat music versus slow.
- Get your heart rate up and keep going for at least 5 minutes, if your heart rate is up you are burning calories even after you rest for a while!
