Are (or have) y'all got any of those crazy girls coming and saying that you're a murderer and that your blog is disgusting?
Someone came and she said I was a murderer and all the girls who die from Ana/Mia, their blood is on my hands and that she was reporting my blog?
I don't care about the other stuff, the girls (and guys) who come here, come at their own free will but should I be worried about being reported?
BlogSpot has a policy of removing blogs that contain content they feel could potentially harm somebody - hate speech, encouraging violence, etc. BUT I don't know if this policy includes pro-ana/mia. Big sites like Tumblr and LiveJournal include it and will remove the blogs, but not every blogging site does.
ReplyDeleteI just came upon this site and I feel like injecting my personal opinion, so...
I don't think you're a murderer or a bad person. A murderer acts out of malice and *intends* to kill someone. You're not a bad person because you're not intending to cause harm - to you, you genuinely feel this information can help you and other people, and it's a place to vent. That, and... well, like the rest of those who do these sites, you have a medical condition that makes you think the things you do about yourself and your body. And it's a very normal and *human* reaction to try finding a group of people you can identify with, whether online or IRL.
Participating in a pro-ana/mia site isn't good at all. I have had personal experience with an ED and even though I *never* participated in those sites (besides lurking), they're addicting and pull you even deeper into anorexia. It's not good.
I really, really hope you can get help and recover before you get any serious damage to your body. But I don't feel right badly judging someone whose vision is clouded by one (leading them to do a pro-ana site), or who has been hurting so much and for so long that an ED took hold of them in the first place...
I actually really, really enjoyed your opinion, it was the first completely understanding, unbiased one I have ever seen. I wish everyone saw proana and eating disorders the way you did, it might help people want to recover one day.
DeleteI dont understand their logic, its your blog you should be allowed to post anything you want and not be a"murderer" for it. You didnt force that upon their friends and family.

Thank you :) That is what I thought, plus I do not force girls to come and read my blog, they obviously find it on their own so they are just as "guilty" as I for wanting companions in this Ana/Mia journey..
